“The Western Coachman” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern)
This one of a kind, historic cabin has been completely refurbished and includes updated furniture, fixtures and appliances. The log cabin is located in a park-like setting across the street from the main office and store. It sits under large full grown evergreen trees and gives you that feeling of a “long ago” mountain cabin, yet it has modern amenities. Sit behind the cabin under the trees or in the enclosed porch and just listen to the Taylor River flowing by just a short distance away. It's the perfect place to unwind and soak up your vacation.
• Approximately 400 square feet
• Queen bed in bedroom, sofa in living room
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, trash bags, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent
• Parking for 2 vehicles and a trailer (Additional vehicles and trailers may require parking separate from the cabin. Fees may apply.)
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   I felt the cabin was expensive, although the hotels in Crested Butte were 2 to 3 times more. That being said, the cabin was very nice, clean, and took dogs. I would definitely choose it again.

  3Rivers resort is a lovely place to stay and experience the Gunnison, Almont and Crested Butte area. We've been coming yearly and have stayed in cabins and mini-homes and on this visit in Cabin 1, which is now our favorite!
  The resort staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating....we so enjoy our stays here.

  Spent 5 nights there in September while we ran trails around the Crested Butte/Marble area. Cabin was cozy and clean and had enough parking for the truck/trailer beside it and the Jeeps in back. Great location with the BBQ restaurant right across the street (food was awesome, by the way). Property was well maintained and clean with doggie bags at the pet relief areas. All staff were very friendly and gift shop was nicely stocked (and shirts were on sale as it was the end of the season). Would definitely stay here again!

  I feel that the customer service at Three Rivers is simply outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive. They met all our requests concerning a special event held at the Pavilion.
  
  The property is beautiful and well maintained. The cabins are unique and well maintained. The prices are quite reasonable. Many cabins are located close to the river. Numerous activities are available for guests and visitors to enjoy.
  
  I would highly recommend this resort to anyone interested in staying in the Gunnison/Crested Butte area. The free bus service to/from CB and Gunnison can be easily accessed.

  We stayed in cabin 1. It was spacious, clean and near the river. Gunnison and Crested Butte are a convenient drive away. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back. Wifi is weak at this cabin. Although the restaurant was closed for the winter, we have eaten there several times before. It is very good.

  One bedroom, one bathroom with functional kitchen and basic living space.
  Bring your own toiletries, food, seasonings and any food storage needs if you are staying multiple days. Worked well for our adventures near Crested Butte but we did arrive in October so restaurant was not open. Gas fireplace was nice but tied to thermostat so took a few minutes to figure out. Baseboard heat worked well. We did bring our dogs and found it easy for them to accompany us.

  We’ve been returning here for many years, since before the River cabins were added. We take advantage of river rafting, fly fishing, and the good food and service at the Smoke House. This year we had three generations of our family in three cabins. Friends from Crested Butte came down and we had a joyous and memorable vacation. The 3R’s staff were exceptional as always. We’ll be back. “Same time next year!”

  My husband and I stayed here and met up with several other couples that stayed in the other cabins nearby. Our cabin was so so adorable and had everything we needed including a great screened in porch and deck near the grill. We could hear the river but unfortunately due to the vegetation, we couldn’t really see it. If they cut down some trees and bushes you could! The place was great and there were several places to walk to with great sites!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers. The cabin was clean and kitchen well stocked with what we needed. Had dinner at the restaurant two nights. Friendly staff and good food. Location was just what we needed. Quiet area between Gunnison and Crested Butte, an easy drive to both locations. We would stay here again.
