Three Rivers Resort is ideally situated in the heart of Almont, CO, just 20 minutes south of Crested Butte and 10 minutes north of Gunnison.
“Hare's Ear” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
If economy packaged in a small charming log cabin appeals to you, this is a perfect cabin for one person or a couple. It is a small, rustic one room cabin just big enough for the full size bed, small table and kitchen. It's clean, cute and offers a grassy area out the front door with a picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit. Parking is limited to one vehicle.

• One full size bed
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking limited to 1 vehicle (Additional vehicles and trailers require parking separate from the cabin. Fees may apply.)
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional $20/night/dog, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 2. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   My wife and I visited Cabin 8 for the second time now in two years. We visited for the first time in 2022, since we enjoyed it so much the first time we booked again this year. Our second stay was just as nice and enjoyable as the first! We had a fire out front in the fire pit both nights we stayed. We cooked one night on the gas stove and ate at the BBQ smoke house the second night. The cabin comes fully equipped with dishes, silverware, pots/pans, coffee maker, etc. There is a private picnic table out front of the cabin if you prefer to eat outside.
  
  The cabin is in a great location, close to Gunnison, Crested Butte, and Taylor Reservoir/River. Fishing is literally steps away from the cabin in the Taylor River. Having the BBQ smoke house, small grocery, and fly shop on premise is an absolute plus! The BBQ is great and highly recommended. The staff was wonderful and friendly. We will definitely be back to stay at Three Rivers again in the future!

  This was a nice place to stay and close to OHV riding trails. We stayed in the small cabins. Room enough for two since we were outside until bedtime. The only issues we had were the bed was not comfortable, and the restaurant service was not the best. We would go back, but would definitely rent one of the other cabin options.

  Cute! Somewhat sparse, but overall a cozy little cabin. Some cabins offer more than others, so take a look at which one you're reserving. The location is fantastic and gorgeous, and check-in was very easy and everything was explained very well. The cabin was clean and ready and had a heater so we weren't cold at night. The food at the restaurant was a bit underwhelming for the price, but it's the nearest/only option if you don't bring your own food cook (unless you go into town a short drive away). Not a huge downside because the cabin did have a kitchen and fridge, so if you plan for that, it's perfect!
  
  I attended a wedding also held at Three Rivers Resort and had an amazing time. I also managed to sneak away before the wedding for a quick horseback ride through the Crested Butte aspen trees (check out Fantasy Ranch if you like well-treated and laid-back trail horses)!

  Very good experience, clean and cozy. Great location Missing hair dryier , and room in a lodge had only one window with air condition unit in it, so there was no way to get that open for the fresh air.
  We enjoyed rafting trip on Taylor river, arranged straight from the hotel. Highly recommended. Overall very good experience during the stay at Three Rivers.
