Cabin 13

“Disco Midge” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
This cabin is one of our most popular, especially for larger families or groups looking for many options in sleeping arrangements. There are 3 bedrooms each with a sink and vanity. Additionally, there is a bunk bed located in an alcove outside of the bedrooms, providing additional bed space if needed. The living room / kitchen / dining area are all together and make for a nice gathering area inside with a gas stove fireplace. While the location of the cabin is right along Taylor River Road (CR 742), there is a nice deck area outside the back door of the cabin with a picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit. Plenty of parking available here.
• Approximately 1200 square feet
• Two bedrooms with queen size beds, one bedroom with a bunkbed plus 2 twin beds, additional bunkbed in hallway alcove.
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Plenty of parking here on both sides of the cabin with room for toy trailers.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 8 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 10. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   We had a wonderful trip here the river and scenery are beautiful! We had cabin 13 which had plenty of beds but sharing one bathroom can be difficult. Cabin 13 is directly on the main and very busy road. Cabin 13 also has a leach field in it’s backyard where some of the caps were broken so we did not sit out back at all as the smell was overpowering and did not open the windows. We were not given any heads up on the leach field being there so that was disappointing because we payed so much more for a larger cabin that would fit our family, when our friends all had river front cabins. We loved the restaurant and property in general, just wish we had a different cabin.

  The cabin is in the midst of Almont. Walking distance to everything. The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. It was definitely old school, which I like.
  It seems like you have a little more privacy at this spot than the other cabins.
  The staff at Three Rivers is incredibly helpful and very nice.
  We were only able to eat breakfast because of time. But the breakfast nook was on point!

  This cabin is alright for maybe 4 or 5 people but my family of 8 it just does not accommodate or meet our needs. For one it's very inconvenient and awkward for 8 people using 1 bathroom; it just doesn't work that well. Also the outdoor lighting could definitely be improved. I would strongly suggest that you add a couple of outdoor lights on both ends of the porch before someone falls going down the steps. On a more positive side of things. You can't beat the sleeping arrangements for this cabin. It was just perfect for the size of my family and the kitchen space was ideal and roomy enough for what we needed. I want too thank you for the wonderful service that was provided by your staff and we will be back next fall.

  The whole vacation was great. The cabin was very clean and comfortable . The only problem that we found was the height of the toilet. It was extremely short and there was nothing like a grab bar to help us get up and down. It would not be recommended for older people or handicapped.

  We have been coming to 3 Rivers for over 30 years. Our families came from all over to get together. Cabin 13 is near the shop and is large enough to hold a couple families. This year. We had 4 adults, 5 children and a furry friend. It is spacious and well equipped and we never have to think about what to bring. The folks running 3 Rivers are fantastic. If you love fishing, rafting, hiking and being in close proximity to a lot of things to explore, this is a great foundation.
