“Orange Asher” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
This premium cabin features a deck with a private hot tub and screened in porch. This porch/deck is larger than those on the other 2 bedroom cabins in this row and it sits under two giant old growth pine trees. There is a direct view to the Taylor River and an easy path down to the river bank. Because this is a one of a kind cabin, it is likely to be booked continuously in the summer, so get your reservations in early! Plenty of parking is available here.
• One bedroom with a queen size bed, one bedroom with a queen and a twin bed.
• Sink/vanity in each bedroom.
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, trash bags, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent
• Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 5. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   This is our 3rd time here and 2nd Father's day weekend. We Love 3 Rivers Resort. Cabin 16 was great but there were a couple issues. First, the grill didn't work and maintenance had to come out both nights to light it manually. We were told that most of the units needed new grills. Second, there was no hot water on second day to shower. We did tell the front desk but were checking out that day so didn't wait to have it fixed. Also, the couch and pillows were covered with hairs...people? dogs? But I have to say overall we love 3 Rivers resort and loved cabin 16 and the others and will continue to return.

  This was a little oasis. Set up perfectly for a vacation. Right on the Taylor River with a deck, jacuzzi, screened in porch in back and porch in front. We brought our 10 year old Golden Retriever who recently had dew claw surgery and he did great. I was able to do an art project outside on the deck in the sunshine to the sounds of the river. The kitchen was perfect - we vacationed with friends who stayed in a larger house, and we were easily able to make hot dishes to take over and join the larger group for dinner. We also used the grill outside to BBQ. (We initially had an issue with the grill igniter which maintenance was quick to address). The bedroom set up was great and the cabin was spotless. The staff was helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We went over to the gift shop just after it closed, and a staff member in their car just about to leave the parking lot saw us, and re-parked to open the shop for us. Such a thoughtful gesture! It was convenient having an on-site restaurant as well. Our 5 night stay was the first week 3 rivers was open for the 2024 season and they were ready! We will definitely be back!

  Beautiful and peaceful, scenic and but not overly secluded...just the perfect balance for a mountain getaway! Beautiful because of the uniqueness of the rock formations and the surrounding valley, nestled among the trees, and peaceful with the river flowing below the cabin...this property had all the amenities and luxuries you'd ever want: a full kitchen and every plate, mug, bowl, utensil you could need, a gas stove and oven, a microwave etc. And outside, a nice seating area, screened porch, and a private hot tub on the deck--perfect for star gazing or relaxing while it's snowing! Magical experience! Totally worth the trip to Almont.
  This place was clean, tidy and well-situated, and even had little sinks in each bedroom! Also a big benefit was the cabin was not to close to your neighbors, and the property is easy to get around, because they give you a map and detailed instructions, which I really appreciated. The grounds are well-maintained, and because of the time of year we went, the giant mounds of snow are plowed and it's easy to get around. Very pleasant place to stay and beautiful location!

  We had an amazing stay at this cabin with a small child and a dog. It is a modern ,clean, nicely decorated, well equipped cabin, and beds are great. One bedroom is perfect for a small family and the second bedroom was for us, the in-laws. We hung out a lot on the large screened in back porch and on the back deck which has a great hot tub which is serviced daily. The restaurant has great food and we also shopped in the gift shop for sweatshirts and sun dries.
  We recommend booking the float trip down the Taylor River with a guide because we caught lots of fish along this beautiful river. We also took a scenic drive over to Crested Butte for the day where there are restaurants and shops.
  Would recommend the owners to improve beach access to the front of the cabin and also provide an umbrella for shading the deck as it was too hot to sit out there. Thank you! We will be back.

  I really enjoyed staying at Three Rivers Resort. We stayed in Cabin 16 and I would absolutely book it again in the future. The hot tub appeared to be clean. There was a screened porch on the back where you could sit and listen to the sounds of the river. The kitchen was well stocked and laid out. Both bedrooms have a sink, which at first seems a bit odd, but is really handy in the mornings when people want to brush their teeth, shower, and use the bathroom at the same time.
  
  Really the only thing that I'd say needs to be improved is the cleanliness of the back porch. There is a futon that would be nice to sit on or maybe even sleep on when the weather is nice but it was really dusty as if the cushion hadn't been cleaned in some time.

  Very nice cabin and nice location; however, just a couple of issues. First the bathroom was filled with flying ant like bugs, which disgusted my wife and little niece. Second the toilet, was very small and short, which was difficult since I am disabled. When we booked the room I indicated that I was disabled and asked was there any issues I was should consider, but was told that only a small step to get into the cabin. Also, from the pictures we thought there was a fire pit in the yard, but rather it was down by the river and impossible for me to access so I missed out on that experience with the kids.

Need easier can openers that work. Major complaint, time for NEW living room furniture, bedding AND beds!   My husband and I rented Cabin 16 in March 2021 and enjoyed our stay. This was our second time staying at Three Rivers. We really enjoyed relaxing on the patio and in the private hot tub where we could listen to the river. It was nice having a full kitchen and relaxing by the fire at night. We would recommend this cabin to a couple or a small family. It might be tight in the cabin for two couples as there are enough beds, but not enough seating in the living room for 4. The cabin was very clean and staff very friendly. The only thing we would change at this cabin and the other cabin we stayed at previously is the mattresses are quite firm and would benefit from new mattresses or atleast a pillow-top cover for comfort. But overall this cabin is great and we will be back.

  This cabin was just what I expected. It was a great time. The hot tub by the river was amazing and beautiful. The space was just enough for the 4 of us. Anymore people it would have been crowded. It was clean and quiet. This was a great getaway. I would love to come back in the spring or summer and stay again. There are only a few suggestions I have that would have helped improve our time here. Adding another chair to the living space with the TV. The seating only allowed for 3 people to comfortably sit. One was always left out. This property is listed to have a max of 4 people. The living room should accommodate that. Leave some directions or an explanation about thankless water heater. It did not regulate the water temp well, it took forever to heat up and also went from hot to cold in the middle of the shower. Lastly, the washer and dryers for the resort didn't work properly and when I called to tell them about the issue the front desk staff didn't offer any resolution on my end. No offer to reimburse for my loads of laundry to be redone or anything. Instead I was left with soaking wet clothes that would not dry due to a washer malfunction and below 0 weather, so drying them was a big issue. Overall those were small matters and we truly loved this cabin and this area. We hope it keeps the small town feeling and is not over ran by too many visitors. It was a nice remote get away.

  We are 3 ladies over 70. Originally I had rented cabin 21. The staff called us to say 16 was a much better configuration for our needs. It was and we loved it. We will be back and we'll request 16. Staff were very good and responsive. Cabin was clean and so comfortable.
