“Blue Dun” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
Cabins 17-21 are all the same style of cabin. These are the most popular cabins at the resort, sitting on the banks of the Taylor River. An open deck overlooks the river and includes a private hot tub. Plenty of parking is available here.
• Approximately 576 square feet.
• Each bedroom has a queen size bed.
• Sink/vanity in each bedroom.
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Cabin 19 that is located right on the river with a hot tub on the back deck (closest to the river). The sound of the river and the crisp mountain air was pure heaven! The location is perfect and the cabin is very comfortable and well equipped. Our only complaint was that the beds were hard and not very comfortable. Three Rivers is one of our favorite places to stay when we come to the Gunnison/Crested Butte area.

  Our fourth time staying here and as always, this place exceeds our expectations. It truly is the staff here that make this stay wonderful. If you need anything, just ask and it is immediately there or solved.
  It was a surprise to see the growth here since our last stay in 2017, but all seemed in harmony. Having the new restaurant was a plus and they are working diligently to staff it properly and provide exceptional service.
  One huge compliment, coming from a ten-year competitive BBQ Pitmaster, the Pitmaster they hired is amazing! I had the dry rubbed smoked wings and they were in the top two best I've ever had!! Wished my wings were that good!
  My only disappointment was that in previous years, our cabin had a trail cleared down to the river so guest could fish behind their cabins, for some reason they have gotten lazy keeping these paths open, hence leaving no river access for the "riverside" cabins.
  Overall, the amazing employees make this resort stand above and beyond other resorts we've stayed at. You won't be disappointed if you stay here, we certainly never have.

  This is a wonderful cabin for short term rental. Great location. Hot tub was fantastic. The beds are HORRIBLE. The beds are so hard that I could only stay for 2 nights. The satellite television was not working. Called the office to complain but they never responded.

  The cabin was very homey and welcoming, along with the gorgeous view! The hot tub was the best, especially to be soaking while listening to the river and looking at the mountains, as well as some of the best star gazing at night. It was clean and very serene, the only complaint I have is for the lights in the kitchen to be dusted and cleaned as there were spiders and dead gnats on the lights, but my friends and I were not too scared the the extra cabin guests since it was all too great!

  We have been here before in the summer and loved it! But our stay in the winter was cold. Stove didn’t work for heat. And we couldn’t ever get an even temperature in the cabin because of baseboard heat. But we do live this are and had a great time. Just stay in a cabin with central heat in the winter.
