“Royal Humpy” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
Cabins 17-21 are all the same style of cabin. These are the most popular cabins at the resort, sitting on the banks of the Taylor River. An open deck overlooks the river and includes a private hot tub. Plenty of parking is available here.
• Approximately 576 square feet.
• Each bedroom has a queen size bed.
• Sink/vanity in each bedroom.
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   LOVE THIS PLACE! Perfect set-up for a couple who has trouble sleeping together in a queen bed because this cabin has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and sink vanity. Lovely location on the Taylor River with its soothing sound of flowing water. Sparkling clean. Kitchen stocked with cutlery, dishes, pots, and utensils--just bring your own coffee and food to make your own breakfasts/lunches. Eat dinners at the Smokehouse--great food! All in all, one of the best summer stays I've ever had! So many recreational opportunities in the area--I'm coming back!

  This was the second year me and a few buddies stayed at this resort for an ice fishing trip. Location is great and staff are friendly. The biggest issue was the hot tub. I was told they had just fixed it but when we tried to use it, the temperature wouldn't get above 94°. Not very hot at all. Other wise the property is clean and private.

  The rental was as expected and we were very thankful for the cooking equipment as most things around the resort were closed for the off season. Hot Tub was well taken care of and got to a comfortable temperature most days. Pillows would get zero stars as they were not comfortable at all- recommend bringing your own. The shower, for anyone with long hair, does not have enough pressure to successfully wash your hair, so probably bring dry shampoo with you.
  
  I'd say the only downside of our stay was the actual staff. They were rude, short and didn't really seem like they wanted guests there at all except for the older woman working the desk when I checked out who cared to listen to me when I provided our experience.
  
  When we got into our cabin, the smell of natural gas was so strong it was dizzying, we had to open all the windows to air it out and found that someone left the large heater on but not lit, so it was dumping natural gas into the cabin. The propane valve was left on for the grill as well so that also added to a the smell. Our home in Texas uses propane so we aren't newbees when it comes to these systems. We took care of all this ourselves, however when I shared the experience with the woman working the desk, she basically blew it off and told us that everyone freaks out about the smell.
  
  We also had to call the after hours number our last night there as our hot tub had been completely shut off. The person who answered didn't identify themselves but sounded either high, drunk or asleep (it was around 7:45pm). We ended up resolving this on our own as well by flipping the breaker as it seems it was surged when they were doing some construction on the porch next to us earlier that day.
  
  I would recommend either coming during the 'on' season or being a self-sufficient guest, as we were, and taking care of your own needs. The property itself is amazing and the fishing at the boat house/in front of our cabin was non stop. Overall

  We have stayed at Three Rivers Resort several times. Unfortunately this time was not our best experience. We had an issue with the hot tub- water was added while we were there and then the temperature would not go above 95 degrees so we lost a whole day of using the hot tub. The bed was extremely uncomfortable- my husband ended up sleeping on the couch because the bed was rock hard. Also, the floor heaters in the bedrooms did not work, so the first night we froze. This cabin needs updated! The weather was gorgeous and of course we love being on the river, but for the price I feel like there are better options. Not sure if it was just this cabin that was like this? Bad luck?

  Despite COVID, the resort practiced limited contact for checking in, etc., yet our cabin was warm, clean and welcoming when we arrived. The cabin is very cozy and the kitchen well stocked, but the hot tub is the best feature and they kept it clean and responded immediately when the hot tub was not heating and got it working right away!!
