Cabin 23

“Blue Quill” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)

Cabins 23-25 and 30 are all identical. They sit at the base of “Lookout Point” in perhaps the most peaceful off-river setting on the resort property. These one bedroom cabins provide all of the basics. The cabin has a separate bedroom, living area and kitchen. Outside there is an open, covered patio with picnic table.
• Approximately 430 square feet.
• Queen size bed in the bedroom and fold out futon in living room (*NOTE: the futon will soon be replaced with a sofa, no fold-out bed)
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   The mountainous location is beautiful. Our one bedroom cabin with a kitchen was basic, with older carpet and furnishings, but offered what e needed as a base camp. The bathroom was a little updated and the shower was wonderful. The front porch and charcoal grill were nice. You can almost never use fires in Colorado anymore because if the extreme fire danger, so that's not available.

  Three Rivers Resort and Cabin 23 were an absolute dream! The property is stunning and the perfect access point to everything the Gunnison Valley has to offer. Our cabin was comfortable, clean, and the spot of spot you want to relax at after fishing and hiking. And you can’t beat the location within the resort either, it felt private while having access to everything you could need or want. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious and exactly what we wanted at the end of long days.

  This is the perfect getaway for a visit to Colorado. If you're not into the crowds of mountain towns but still want to be close enough to the action, this is the place for you. The accommodations were quiet, comfortable and clean. Check-in and check-out were seamless and the folks at the office were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The restaurant has BBQ that is excellent. We will be back!

  Just one night but it was very pleasant. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything one would need. One thing that would make an improvement would be to give the front inside entry a dark brown stain or change the material (finished grade plywood) with a dark brown stain.

  For decades my family has vacationed to Three Rivers at Almont, so staying in these cabins feels like coming home. Everything was wonderful. The cabins are clean & well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and we love cozying up around a campfire each night while listening to the Taylor River. When we don't feel like cooking, we walk down to the Smokehouse and enjoy a plate of ribs out on the patio. This place is a hidden gem & we can't wait to come back!

  Nice place. Nothing fancy. Our tv never worked. Called front desk and they sent maintenance out. He said he didn’t know much about TVs and said go fishing or rafting. Walked out the door. Never heard from anyone again.
