“Captain” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
**We regret to inform you that shared hot tubs will be closed down permanently. Private hot tubs remain open.**
Cabins 23-25 and 30 are all identical. They sit at the base of “Lookout Point” in perhaps the most peaceful off-river setting on the resort property. These one bedroom cabins provide all of the basics. The cabin has a separate bedroom, living area and kitchen. Outside there is an open, covered patio with picnic table.
• Approximately 430 square feet.
• Queen size bed in the bedroom and fold out futon in living room (*NOTE: the futon will soon be replaced with a sofa, no fold-out bed)
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
**For VRBO guests, please refer to your reservation confirmation sent to your email after booking for check-in and unit details. We operate like a hotel with a front desk.**
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   Enjoyed our stay here. Booked last minute so our cabin was across from river by the maintenance area so it felt like we were in a large parking lot. Cabin had a nice porch. Definitely clean.   We stayed in one of the one bedroom cabins away from the river. It was very rustic and could use updating. The pros are - having a full size refrigerator and range, good water pressure, great location, nice to have a general store and restaurant on site.
  The cons are- TV and heat in the living area only, small shower, no dishwasher, ants/ ant traps, power went out overnight, overall needs updating, pricey.
  We had friends that stayed in a two bedroom cabin by the river and it was much nicer.

  Very nice cabin with everything we needed to stay the week. Futon/ couch was a little lumpy for a second bed, parking was very good for trailers. Extremely nice and helpful staff, restaurant was really good! Booked a fly fishing trip that was terrific! Nice laundromat. Beautiful views of mountains and rivers. We would stay here again !

  This place is great. It was off season and a holiday so there wasnt much going on but that is what we wanted...rest and quite! We booked last minute and the staff were great over the phone. The cabin was locked when we arrived and they were there in 5 minutes to let us in. The kitchen included everything we needed to cook everything we brought with us. Our dogs had a blast walking Canyon Ridge trail too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking!

  Beautiful location in the mountain region 17 miles outside of Crested Butte. Stayed 2 nights in September but should have stayed longer. Great quality cabin ( #24 ) overlooking the local mountain range and second to the end of a line of cabins but ample space between each for adequate privacy. Quiet and well supplied wee abode with all the modern conveniences decorated with a flare of old aged charm. Cosy and warm in the evenings, firepit and BBQ outside for evening entertainment. Just a walk from the Three Rivers Restaurant and patio, and the Almont Restaurant just over the bridge 3 mins further down the road. Great to unwind for a chilled relaxing time or feast on the many outdoor pursuits, like fishing, rafting , MTB - ing and hiking in fall etc. It is a photographers dream in and around Olde Historic Crested Butte. Probably best out of the three ski mountain towns between Breckenridge, Telluride and Crested Butte for chill, quietly charming welcoming community feel but enough to keep you entertained for a couple of weeks or if just passing through. Loved it. Would come back for more.

  For decades my family has vacationed to Three Rivers at Almont, so staying in these cabins feels like coming home. Everything was wonderful. The cabins are clean & well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and we love cozying up around a campfire each night while listening to the Taylor River. When we don't feel like cooking, we walk down to the Smokehouse and enjoy a plate of ribs out on the patio. This place is a hidden gem & we can't wait to come back!

  Awesome resort to spend a week...this is our 3rd or 4th visit and will return. Close to Gunnison, Crested Butte, Taylor Reservoir, etc.
  Cabin location perfect, very clean, very responsive front desk and cleaning staff. Covered front porch with table and seating just wonderful.
  The Smokehouse restaurant onsite is delicious...we had several meals there.
  2 suggestions for improved comfort in the cabins are:
  a real sofa/couch (ditch the futon) and more lighting in the living room.

  We absolutely loved our stay! So clean, cozy, and great access to town in Gunnison, and the river! My boyfriends family she’s stayed here before and they loved it as well so we decided to come back! The only thing they should do is get rid of wifi or say that they have it. Because it does not work! If it does ... you only are able to access it for a minute. So don’t come here if you are needed wifi for work, school, etc. But other than that AMAZING! Five stars!!

  Great service in general but especially with my reservation. As I made it late, they figured out a way for me to stay but I had to switch rooms to do so. In the process I left my knee brace in the freezer in the first room, they found it and delivered it to my second room!   Cabin 24 was very comfortable and centrally located for the activities we wanted. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was well maintained and clean. We went to Garlic Mike’s in Gunnison for live music outside by the river & dinner. We drove to Tin Cup & explores the old cemeteries. And of course, spent a lot of time in Crested Butte, our favorite mountain town. Would also recommend the Kebler Pass drive out of Crested Butte.

  1. The hot water heater when refilling or reheating when refilling would make some very loud almost boiling/popping noises for which I’m sure you get reminded of by each guest.
  2. If possible some Non-stick pans?
  3. Possibly a screen door on the front door so the front door and foyer door can be left open for additional fresh air and natural light?
