Cabins 23-25 and 30 are all identical. They sit at the base of “Lookout Point” in perhaps the most peaceful off-river setting on the resort property. These one bedroom cabins provide all of the basics. The cabin has a separate bedroom, living area and kitchen. Outside there is an open, covered patio with picnic table.
• Approximately 430 square feet.
• Queen size bed in the bedroom and fold out futon in living room
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   Had this cabin for a week while on a hunting trip. Queen bed plus futon were just right for two guys. Very decent kitchen with gas stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, etc. Nice bathroom with shower. Satellite dish tv plus WIFI. This cabin was not a honeymoon suite facility but perfect for two buddies on a hunting trip. The adjacent larger cabins friends were staying in were really quite nice.

  Great size, amenities and location but we fount it quite dirty and not well kept. Futon is junk, mice should be mitigated better, spider webs and cobwebs around the hot water tank, water wasn’t hot so had to get it adjusted which they did very promptly.

  Wonderful service at Three Rivers! Front desk employees were amazingly friendly and bent over backwards to be helpful—these folks are golden! Loved the fully furnished cabin, the camp store, and the fly fishing store. Our cabin was immaculately clean—kudos to the cleaning crew. It was nice to NOT be bombarded with skunkweed smoke anywhere we went—thanks for that restriction! We were visited by somebody’s black kitty with a collar and tag—what a nice kitty he was!! Only issue was the bed and futon couch weren’t particularly comfortable and we needed ottomans. Patio amenities were superb.

  The location of the cabin is really good. Close to The river makes it easy to go fishing in the morning. The proximity of the fly shop is excellent. The cabin itself... it is rustic. The cell service is also rustic. The ability to use the Wi-Fi is spotty. The TV was small and positioned on the dining room table, it could’ve easily been hung on a wall and would’ve been a whole lot better. I wish they would have had a nonstick skillet. Towel service is excellent. The cabin is ready for an update. The carpet is quite old and the tack strip exposed where it met the kitchen. New flooring is needed. Broken blinds need repaired. The outlets won’t hold plugs. They are worn out. The only easy accessible outlet are in The kitchen. The rest of the outlets are hidden behind things and the plugs fall out. Something was wrong with the defrost in the freezer because it dripped water onto our food in the main fridge compartment. The front porch of the cabin is quite comfortable, the fire ring and bbq are nice and were cleaned daily. . The couch/futon is worn out. Furniture is thrift store quality. There is a mud room when you walk in, quite useful however, the walls are plywood and unfinished as is the floor. So the first appearance is not that great. We got over that and we’re grateful for the space for our ice chest and fishing rods. That space could’ve been used to make the cabin bigger. That might’ve been quite nice. The grounds are well manicured. The staff is friendly. They have been updating some of the cabins which we have stayed in one before and it was beautiful, I hope they update this one soon. It’s the perfect size for two people, if we had wrote a third they would’ve had to stay on the futon in the living room. Maybe OK for a kid.

  Three Rivers Resort is located in a beautiful part of Colorado. I would have liked to have had a ceiling fan & hair dryer in the cabin. Kitchen had all you need for cooking. No pool; the river was the only option for cooling off. Access to a pavilion w/gas grill. Research the different cabins before you book because there are lots of options to choose from. TV was very limited; not good when a storm is headed in your home’s direction.

  Overall it is what you expect from a resort of this type. Cozy and cut for summer. We stayed during very cold times - 3 degrees at night. Heater struggled to keep up, we had to bring our own extra comforter and pillows. Kitchen is good, has everything you need Towels are very thin and tired. Price seems a bit high for minimal amenities. I guess it’s all about the location! And there’s nowhere more beautiful than this part of Colorado.

  We quite enjoyed the privacy of having our own space, unlike that of linked hotel rooms. The cool weather was a nice break from Arizona's heat and the views on the drive in were amazing. Only draw back is the location's proximity to surrounding grocery stores.

  We reserved very last minute so we had to take what we could get. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We loved cabin 39 and all the ones similar. The cabins numbered in the 20's to 30 were more rustic, but still so much better than tent camping. All the cabins were clean and plenty of hot water. I would recommend Three Rivers Resort if you want to have a nice place to stay while you are fishing, hiking, rafting or just want to base camp while you do relaxing activities in the area.
