“Humpy” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)

This cabin is considered premium lodging as it feels more like a home than a mountain cabin, providing lots of elbow room and all the conveniences of a home. The upstairs loft is a large open room with 2 queen size beds. It is a full size loft (an adult can stand fully) and there is plenty of space for belongings.
• Approximately 1126 square feet.
• Queen size bed in the bedroom and 2 additional queen size beds in the loft.
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, trash bags, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent
• Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 6 people. Maximum occupancy is 6. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   We have been coming to Three Rivers once or twice a year for 20 years now. We love the location and the atmosphere. The cabins are neat and clean and cabin 26 was great for us. We had our Daughter and Son in Law with us this time along with our 1 and 2-1/2 year old grandbabies. They stayed in the loft and had plenty of space. The staff was great and they always have been. We love Almont Three Rivers and will continue to return each year and have encouraged many of our friends to make Almont a vacation spot. Additionally I have treated several customers to fly fishing exeriences with the Three Rivers guides. Several of them have taken their families back for a Summer vacation as well.

  We have stayed in this cabin two times in the past year...and have it booked again in February! We've stayed at Three Rivers Resort at least 6 times now, and just love the people who work there and the attention to detail in all their lodging spaces. Cabin 26 is big enough to spread out, but so reasonably priced. We go skiing in Crested Butte and enjoy the short commute to the slopes, and go out out to eat even after heading back to the cabin to clean up and go out for dinner. The kitchen is spacious and has all the amenities you need to cook, fix breakfast, or just snack. We usually bring food up so we can stay in if we'd like. There is a firepit and wood grill if you want to be outside on a starry night. It's proximity to CB and Gunnison can't be beat! We obviously will be back!

  First time patron. Facilities were clean and full service bar and grill and fishing store were much appreciated. Star gazing at 8,000 feet was amazing, especially during the perceid meteor showers. Plenty of fishing and hiking trails within a short drive. Friendly staff. Would definitely consider again.

  Enjoyed our family outing to Three Rivers Resort in Almont, Colorado. The cabins were spacious, clean and modern. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

  It was an overall great experience but my daughter hated the mice problem. Hearing the little critters around at night creeped her out pretty bad. The management really didn't seem too concerned about her feelings or mine. My daughter will never go back. I can overlook the issue and will probably return one day soon for the fishing. The fishing guide was excellent and went well beyond anything I expected. In all honesty it was probably the best fishing trip ever.

  We made a last minute plan to go on vacation and made our reservation on Monday, June 29th, and got to Almont on July 1st. Three Rivers is always so accommodating & we will never stay anywhere else whenever we go to Colorado. We go every single year & love staying in different cabins each time! Enjoying the river, trout fishing, amenities of Three Rivers, and amazing weather.
