Cabin 32

Gray Ghost (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.) Cabins 31-38 are identical styles. These tiny home “mountain chalets” offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect for families. There is a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. *Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping area is low enough for a toddler or small child to be able to climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.

• The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 twin mattresses on the floor
• Couch in living room - not a hide-a-bed. If extra bed is needed, please bring an air mattress or sleeping bag.
• Covered open deck with patio table/chairs
• Nearby community fire ring may be used
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, hairdryer, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking is somewhat limited in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. Additional vehicles and longer trailers may require parking separate from the cabin and fees may apply.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   The cabin was nice. There was plenty of shelves and cabinets to keep organized. Main bedroom closet perfectly fits large suitcases in depth. No AC so would get a little warm during day...but keeping windows opened through night and day was great! Fan provided. Very convenient to bus stop which runs between CB and Gunnison.

  We love Gunnison/Crested Butte, this is a perfect in between spot. Staff is very kind and helpful. Cabins were in good condition and clean. There is a little hike nearby that was enjoyable.   Our main activities were kayaking and hiking with a little dirt biking. The location was great for these activities. I surprised how quiet the facility was because of how close the cabins are to each other. Lots of positives - two "negatives" wifi is limited even for looking up trailheads and activity stuff. They disclosed this but I didn't realize extent :). The cabin got hot and took a long time to cool down at night. We would totally stay again as overall really good.

  Our ‘Tiny Home’ wasn’t really tiny at all - plenty of room with a nice kitchen and plenty of storage in the bedroom for clothes etc. Ate dinner at the on-site restaurant a few times and had take-out a few times ... went to lunch usually in Crested Butte or Gunnison - lots of great options. The people at the Fly Shop were really helpful and supportive. We’ll be back!

  A wonderful resort tuck away in some beautiful country just a short distance from Crested Butte. Wonder cabins with all the essentials, an awesome outdoor restaurant serves excellent food and the general store and fly shop serve all the rest of your needs. The only place to stay in the Gunnison and Crested Butte area. Staff are super friendly and helpful! I love the place!
