Cabin 38

Zug Bug (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.) Cabins 31-38 are identical styles. These tiny home “mountain chalets” offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect for families. There is a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. *Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping area is low enough for a toddler or small child to be able to climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.

• The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 twin mattresses on the floor
• Couch in living room - not a hide-a-bed. If extra bed is needed, please bring an air mattress or sleeping bag.
• Covered open deck with patio table/chairs
• Nearby community fire ring may be used
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, hairdryer, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking is somewhat limited in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. Additional vehicles and longer trailers may require parking separate from the cabin and fees may apply.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   After arriving found a gorgeous cabin but extremely hot. Within hours I took a temperature reading in cabin and it was 91 degrees. After in the cab and opening windows and running fans with no relief I spoke with Michelle about this and she could care less. I have a medical condition and again she coul care less. I was only there for a few hours and planned on staying there for 4 nights. She said she was charging me for first night and then only gave me half back. I would of understood if there were people waiting in line for this cabin but the place was empty. She said if she could rent one of the cabins for my day she would reimburse me the rest. Well I called an she said ....guess what no. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE GOONG HERE NOT A NICE MANAGER. I have and know other people who have dealt with her nonsense. Totally no companion and now I know why the place was empty. What a sad world we live in. It used to be a beautiful retreat.Sad customer

  This is now our 4th time staying at Three Rivers Resort and as always, it was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Love that the cabin is always clean and well supplied. I would preffer a more comfortable bed, though. Overall, always happy to arrive and enjoy our stay.

  We rented cabin 38 the Zug Bug or something like that. When we arrived, I was pretty underwhelmed by the cabin. First, it's not really a cabin, more like a prefab that was parked. The floors are uneven and feel mushy. Space just isn't very attractive IMO, especially for what we paid ($180 a night so like $540 for three days). Tiny TV, weird furnitute layout. No AC so it was really hot. One of the fans shook like crazy, Deadbolt was missing. The overall facility was fine and the people there are great overall but I was just really underwhelmed by the actual lodging. The other cabins by the water seem a lot better so if you can stay there maybe worth it.
