Cabin 41

Peacock Caddis (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.) Cabins 39-44 are identical styles with cabin 49 being similar but having a slightly different layout. These tiny home “mountain chalets” offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect for families. There is a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. *Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping loft is high but a small child could potentially climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.

• The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 full size mattresses on the floor
• Full size sofa in living room (not a hide-a-bed).
• Covered open deck with patio table/chairs
• Nearby community fire ring may be used
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking is somewhat limited in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. Additional vehicles and longer trailers may require parking separate from the cabin and fees may apply.
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.

All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   Mattress was a little creaky. Some blinds were damaged, wouldn't open. Surprised that shampoo/conditioner wasn't provided.

  Can’t beat cabin life. Upstairs might have been a stretch to stay in due to the 4 foot ceiling for anyone but kids. Wish a lower $$ would have been offered for a couple not using the upstairs at all. Can’t imagine cleaning service having to make those upstairs beds up after stays!! Such a convenience to just back up to the door to load/unload. Outside covered porch a big plus for added living space.

  We had a great time at this cabin. Bingo on Tuesday night was fantastic and so fun! Our cabin was not in "amazing" condition, you can tell it's old, but it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, cookware, etc and the fridge is a nice size. It felt homey and we loved the comfy little couch and rocking chair! I'd say the mattress in the main bedroom needed to be replaced, it was not comfy and quite loud with minimal movement. Three of us needed to take a shower the same night and after just one long shower, the hot water was gone. The freezer started making noise towards the end of our stay and also wasn't freezing the ice, but the front desk people were great about it and sent someone to help. All that being said, it's a great place to stay, and we would stay there again.

  We have absolutely loved living in Almont these past 5 months at Three Rivers Resort. The staff is so kind and the location is amazing. The loft is perfect for kiddos or our roomie who didn't mind not being able to stand all the way up. There are awesome hikes right by the cabin and the cabin itself is cute and cozy enough to hunker down in all day long. It is so nice being able to see the whole sky full of stars with minimal light pollution and we loved living outside of Gunni and CB. The free RTA bus makes living here super easy. We loved this place and would love to come back!

  We hosted a family reunion. We got neighboring cabins for the families and used our cabin as the central food area. Worked fine. The ample, covered deck made for nice meals. The grill was adequate ... bring our own charcoal.
