Cabin 44

Madam X (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.) Cabins 39-44 are identical styles with cabin 49 being similar but having a slightly different layout. These tiny home “mountain chalets” offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect for families. There is a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. *Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping loft is high but a small child could potentially climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.
• Approximately 400 square feet
• The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 twin size mattresses on the floor
• Full size sofa in living room (not a hide-a-bed).
• Covered open deck with patio table/chairs
• Nearby community fire ring may be used
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking is somewhat limited in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. Additional vehicles and longer trailers may require parking separate from the cabin and fees may apply.
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   Great experience, great weekend getaway from busy, crazy, daily rollercoaster. Not our first year staying here. We keep coming back, because it's very Cozy, quiet,clean cabins, secluded from lots of traffic, river is healing. Mesmerizing views! Friendly staff.   We really enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers! Our cabin was such a comfy and quaint little space, our kids LOVED the loft! The cabin came with everything you'd need to prep your own meals, although you may want to take a stroll to their restaurant because that was pretty darn good bbq! The cabin was generally pretty clean and maintained, although they require a little TLC and maybe a little updating. Just two cent, not a deal breaker, but small stains in the carpet take all of two seconds to "Resolve" (lol, see what I did there?), and a squeaky, springy mattress shouldn't be a think in 2023, overall small potatoes. Three Rivers is located in relative close proximity to all kinds of fun things to do, which is great. That's why we, and all of our great neighbors stayed there. Not to mention the great wifi, that surprised us, it tends to suck in similar places. Would we return? Heck yeah, overall, great experience!

  Very happy with the tiny home cabin style at Three Rivers Resort. The location was perfect and the layout is very cozy. Having the cabin furnished was just one last worry so appreciated! My family and I brought our own food but the onsite restaurant is amazing and just fun! The whole cabin and property is very well maintained and all staff are very professional and respectful. The customer service is outstanding and I would highly recommend this cabin or any at Three Rivers! Walking distance to the campfire to roast marshmallows underneath the stars! Walk to the beautiful river to feel, hear and smell relaxation!. ATV and rafting available so much fun! Very pleased and definitely will be going back! It was hard to leave we were made to feel so comfortable! Just an amazing place, you must go and see!

  Had an Amazing time in Almont! The Location was perfect, weather was perfect, and the fishing was great! I do however doubt I will stay at Three Rivers Resort again. The staff was friendly and the cabin was fairly clean, But the Bed... OUCH!!!I can't even explain how awful the bed is.. I know it's a cabin/camping type atmosphere, but it was like sleeping on sharp chunk of metal.. It was beyond uncomfortable, and extremely loud. Anytime you move, or even just sit on the edge, it makes hideous noises.. Both the pillows and mattress's have to be over 20 years old.. You can feel every spring in the mattress and every piece of wood in the box spring! It's painful!!! It caused restless sleep, back pain, and a headache from the hard pillows.. Not relaxing at all, for being a "getaway!!!" Again I understand this is camping and in a cabin, but I have also never felt so much pain from a bed anywhere in my life.. It would be far more comfortable to sleep on the bare ground! If the beds were changed, the cabins would be perfect! But Until then.... Not worth paying for the loss of sleep and un-comfortability!!!

  The cabin was clean and roomy with a great kitchen to allow personal food prep. Beautiful location. Very kind staff. Would have loved a personal fire pit and possibly a community hot tub. Cabins are close together so if you are looking for your own personal space you might consider different cabins located away from the group.

  This cabin was perfect for my family! We had a large group of families that all traveled to Almont together to ride UTVs and enjoy the views. These cabins were beautiful and had plenty of room. The store and restaurant was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place!
  My only complaint was that since we had 14 families staying at different cabins if we rode our side by side from one cabin to the next to visit and haul coolers and food they would get mad and told us we couldn’t do that. I get it but it still made it harder to go hang with our other groups. I understand though.
  Also the cleaning staff were so nice and appreciative. Great place!

  The mattress in the first floor bedroom needs to be replaced. It was worn out and not very comfortable. The sofa was also very uncomfortable. The bathroom shower/ Tub valve and shower head needs to be replaced. It was very difficult to control.

  We had a wonderful stay. Accommodations were very comfortable. A heavier area rug is suggested as the one in our cabin flipped up too easily and was easy to trip over. The cabin was clean, a lot of storage and most comfortable. Staff efficient. 👍��We look forward to future stays!

  We have stayed several times at Three River’s so when we needed a overnight on our way home we called. Was pleasantly surprised that they had a cabin. It was just my wife and myself and the cabin was perfect. Ate a light dinner at the restaurant and had a drink before retiring. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Really liked being able to get up and enjoy coffee on the covered deck smelling the wonderful mountain air.

  This place was so great! Charming location, full kitchen. 2 things: we first stayed in cabin 44 and the bed was so uncomfortably hard but then we switched the next night (bc of the reservation availability) to cabin 36 and the bed was fine. The wifi was spotty but that worked out as we wanted to spend more family time together and not on screens.
  The customer service was excellent. The check in staff were friendly and attentive (as was the phone booking person, maybe the same staff?) and I left something in the cabin's fridge and was promptly called about it shortly after checkout. Will stay here again!
