Cabin 49

Hopper Dropper (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.) Cabins 39-44 are identical styles with cabin 49 being similar but having a slightly different layout. These tiny home “mountain chalets” offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect for families. There is a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. *Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping loft is high but a small child could potentially climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.
• Approximately 400 square feet
• The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 full size mattresses on the floor
• Full size sofa in living room (not a hide-a-bed).
• Covered open deck with patio table/chairs
• Nearby community fire ring may be used
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking is somewhat limited in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. Additional vehicles and longer trailers may require parking separate from the cabin and fees may apply.
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. The only complaint was that the cabin(tiny house) #49 needed a little TLC, couldn’t touch the blinds in the bedroom without them crashing down, shower head was loose, and blinds in general were in bad condition...other than those few things we really loved the place, activities were fun, staff was helpful...Great place

  The Three Rivers Resort is paradise in any season!
  
  I enjoyed renting a cabin for a few blissful days and I cannot wait to return! The restaurants are delicious and I highly recommend Garlic Mike's, which is just a few minutes down the highway towards Gunnison. Totally worth stopping in and enjoying the specials or menu staples!
  
  There is so much to do and enjoy in Almont! If you love outdoor activities, you need to stay here and explore some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire state! There is almost zero light pollution, so if you are a stargazer like me, you will love seeing our sky in a way that is impossible to view from any city.
  
  The staff at the Three Rivers Resort are knowledgable and friendly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my time there and I know you will love it too! See you soon and thank you all so much!

  Beautiful property & surroundings . Ours was an efficiency cabin in RV park area & was well kept . Infact I was really skeptical about cleanliness . Happy to say it proved me wrong . There was pet hair on the couch . But it was taken care immediately as soon as we reported it . The staffs were very friendly . And I " ll come back again & again here for their brisket spicy bbq sauce & margarita !!!
  They have some beautiful cabins on the river . So many outdoor activities too .

  Love the location with beautiful views. Have stayed with resort before with no issues. This time we stayed in different cabin and had to ask for new bedspread due to it being covered in dog hair. Also had to clean the couch due to being covered with dog hair. The carpet in living room and couch both had a nasty odor.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers! It's a great location between Gunnison and Crested Butte. The reservation, check in/out process was so easy and seamless. We ate at the on site restaurant and enjoyed that too. The cabin we rented was perfect for our family of 3 (and easily would have accommodated a couple more). No complaints from us at all.

  Thanks to lots of photos and reviews online we were able to confidently reserve five days at Three Rivers Resort sight unseen. We had one of the two story cabins for just the two of us and had plenty of room to relax in. We appreciated the full kitchen so we could cook and eat "at home." Parking was right outside so no lugging luggage! And our cabin was in a very quiet area with low activity which was nice. Overall a nice quiet place to stay.
