Cabins 57-67 are identical styles. These deluxe tiny home “mountain chalets” on the Taylor River offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect cabins for families. The best feature is that you are literally steps away from the river. The cabin has a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. *Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping loft is high but a small child could potentially climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.
• Approximately 400 square feet
• The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 double mattresses on the floor
• Full size sofa in living room (not a hide-a-bed)
• Covered open deck with patio table/chairs and riverside picnic table with fire pit and charcoal grill
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking is very tight in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. Additional vehicles and longer trailers may require parking separate from the cabin and fees may apply.
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.
**For VRBO guests, please refer to your reservation confirmation sent to your email after booking for check-in and unit details. We operate like a hotel with a front desk.**
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   Location doesn’t get any better than this! Close to Gunnison and Crested Butte. The Taylor Canyon and National Forest areas surrounding the resort were absolutely breathtaking. Cabin was cute and everyone at the resort was super friendly. We also enjoyed all of the fly fishing opportunities on the Taylor and Gunnison Rivers (including the private access behind the cabin).

  This is our second time at Three Rivers Resort (first time was August 2023) and we absolutely love it. It's 10 miles from Gunnison, so even in the off season when on-site restaurant is closed, there are a lot of great places to eat. The staff is super friendly, has great recommendations for places to go, and things to see. OR, you can grab a pole and fish the river behind our cabin, which is what we did. We highly recommend the fishing guide service there on-site; our guide Eric Grand was very patient with a first time fly-fisher, very encouraging, and celebrated catches with us! Best day ever!! AND, he's like a walking encyclopedia - we learned so much that day. The cabins are very clean, warm and cozy. Nice TV to catch a game, nicer porch to drink coffee on and watch the river.
  Next trip - we are going to check out the ice fishing! If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax and recharge - this is the place.

BUT...Scraped my head and drew blood on non-standard low bathroom door frame, tripped and fell on non-standard large step from door to porch - nearly broke my leg.   We found the cabin clean and in good shape. Unfortunately, the mattress sagged in the middle quite noticably and it was pretty hard, making for a not-so-resort-like sleeping experience.
  Everything else was great. We had trouble with a window, but received help within 10 minutes. Beautiful place to stay.

  My friend on I are on a fishing trip on the Taylor River. The location was perfect with the Taylor being right down the road and the East being right off the porch. The room was excellent with a decent sized living area and plenty of room to relax in front of the TV and cook dinner either inside or outside on the charcoal grill. I will be back next year as it's a great location to enjoy the fishing on the Taylor. We caught fish every day and good size!

  Their title of "Tiny Home Style" is truly accurate. Granted I am 6'3", but having to walk sideways through the unit was not our favorite part...location is unbeatable but the "tiny" aspect was a detriment. Since we spent most of our time on the river(s) it was acceptable...bedroom was filled with the bed with no room to sit anything...but there is a very nice deck to offset...
