Cabins 57-67 are identical styles. These deluxe tiny home “mountain chalets” on the Taylor River offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect cabins for families. The best feature is that you are literally steps away from the river. The cabin has a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. *Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping loft is high but a small child could potentially climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.
• Approximately 400 square feet
• The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 double mattresses on the floor
• Full size sofa in living room (not a hide-a-bed)
• Covered open deck with patio table/chairs and riverside picnic table with fire pit and charcoal grill
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking is very tight in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. Additional vehicles and longer trailers may require parking separate from the cabin and fees may apply.
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time.   This is was our 2nd time to Three Rivers Resort. The Tiny House cabin was cute and right on the river, which I LOVED. The only con that I have on this cabin was how cramped the bedroom and bathroom were. We were there in July and the weather was phenomenal. Eighties during the day and 40's at night, it was perfect. The area was always clean and the staff were always professional. I highly recommend water rafting!

  We had a great stay at the "tiny home" style cabin. I was a little concerned that we might be cold at night due to the temperatures but the cabin was very warm and it was easy to control the base board heating. Everything that was a "non-food" item was provided (including coffee filters) and we were able to cook meals. Very beautiful setting and very quiet.

Customer service was excellent. I would recommend staying at Three Rivers to everyone of my friends and family. We enjoyed the fantastic outdoors in the Almont/Gunnison area. We mainly traveled into the snowy high country.

  I think the water by the cabin makes the cabin experience. Not sure that we enjoyed the loft. The stairs were steep and very short. The bedroom was very tight to get in and out or put our belongings. We had to scatter them in the front room which made it look messy. Our dog enjoyed it, but I wouldn't have carpet where dogs are allowed. Cabins are not as well kept as we thought.

  We stay at Three Rivers every year (often more than once) and always enjoy our stay there. The cabins along the Taylor are a great place to hang by the water and enjoy a cup of coffee or dinner. The cabins are clean and have everything you might want or need. The staff there are also fantastic! We extended our stay for an additional night but had to move cabins. They were great about letting us move right over rather than having to wait five hours to check in.

  We have visited Three Rivers a couple of times, but this was our first experience staying in a cabin, and we loved it! We stayed in Cabin 65, which was right by the Taylor River and had a generously sized porch which was perfect for our family.
  We booked a rafting trip with Three Rivers and had an incredible time. Very convenient as the meeting spot is right by the gift shop/restaurant.
  The gift shop/outfitters is well-stocked with a wide variety of clothes, gifts, souvenirs, and snacks.
  We plan to make this an annual trip!
