Lodge Room A

Our lodge rooms offer hotel-style accommodations plus a kitchenette (no stove/oven) in every unit. These are the only units at the resort that offer air conditioning in the summer. They are located above the main store/office and are accessible from an interior stairwell or an exterior ramp. Like all of our lodging, we do not offer daily housekeeping. We supply basics like linens, soap and kitchenware. Guests supply shampoo, hairdryers and any food. Pets are not allowed in these rooms. The rooms are best suited for 2 people since there is only one bed.
• Queen size bed plus a sofa (not a hide-a-bed). If an extra bed is needed, please bring an air mattress or sleeping bag.
• Bathroom has a tub/shower
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (coffee and filters available though), laundry detergent, hairdryer, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking in the main resort parking lot for one vehicle. Inquire about additional parking if needed.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs are not allowed in these rooms. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. Maximum occupancy is 4 (but no more than 2 is recommended). Extra person fees may apply if more than 2 people. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. For exact rates, enter your trip dates in the availability search.

  This is where we usually stay when we go to the Crested Butte area. The lodge rooms are large, clean and have kitchens. Very comfortable and convenient with store in the lobby. Great BBQ in the summer. And a great staff!

  A friend and I were in Almont for a music event and this was the perfect lodging for us. We shared Lodge Room A. The folks at the desk were super welcoming and helpful at check in.   I have stayed here several years, I have comeback so overall I was happy with the place. But this year i had an emergency at home and had to leave three days early. I asked management if they could refund me for the three days. The responce was if we could rent it we will refund your money. I understand if they loose a rental because of you reservation but the place was not half full and they obviously did not loose any rentals because of my reservation. They also will rent another before they rent my room. I could see this policy during the busy season but not when they are less than 50 % occupied. I will think twice before staying there again.

  When we first visited Three Rivers in 2008, we extended our stay by another day because we liked it so much. That wasn't an option this time, unfortunately, but we did enjoy a comfortable one-night stay in the lodge, and we had a good time hiking around the property the next morning. Wish the timing of our trip had been such that we could have gone to the restaurant. Extra points for friendly service at the front desk. We're hoping not to let so much time pass before our next visit!

  Our stay was very pleasant and all was as described. The lodge room A had air conditioning which was much appreciated as it was a hot summer day when we stayed. There are cute cabins down by the river but i don't think they had a/c. The front desk was helpful and friendly. There were no hair dryers so don't forget to bring your own. The restaurant on site was good, with a nice outdoor patio and some great live music on the Sunday night we were there. We didn't fish but it looked like plenty of fishermen were staying there, and rafters. We wanted to be close to Crested Butte, a delightful area nearby, beautiful wildflowers in late July on the Judd Falls trail and the interesting Rocky Mt Bio Lab in Gothic Co on the way to the trail. The area is beautiful and Three Rivers is a reasonably priced nearby area to stay in, we would come back again.

  We were splitting time between activities near Gunnison and 4-wheeling at Taylor Reservoir. This was a good location for a home base and our room was very clean, which was important to me. Perfectly adequate kitchenette, nothing we needed our room didn't have. The bed was a little hard and the A/C had trouble keeping up, but other than that no complaints. Cute little store and, although we didn't eat at the restaurant, it smelled absolutely amazing as we walked the ramp to our room in the evenings. Super cute place - hope to stay in a cabin next time. But, if the cabins are full, the lodge rooms are a great back up option.

  We had a very nice experience. The only drawback was that we expected the lodge rooms to provide beds for 3. Instead, we were told that the futons had just been swapped out for couches the day before. No notice. If not for my sister and family leaving the last night allowing us to sleep in their cabin, I would not have had a bed.

  Nice place. Personal extremely helpful. Glad we went. I wish I was more confident with knowing that the COVID-19 cleaning/sanitizing was completed. The room was clean and neat, but obviously it is difficult to know whether the virus was or is there or not.
