Three Rivers Resort is ideally situated in the heart of Almont, CO, just 20 minutes south of Crested Butte and 10 minutes north of Gunnison.
Our lodge rooms offer hotel-style accommodations plus a kitchenette (no stove/oven) in every unit. These are the only units at the resort that offer air conditioning in the summer. They are located above the main store/office and are accessible from an interior stairwell or an exterior ramp. Like all of our lodging, we do not offer daily housekeeping. We supply basics like linens, soap and kitchenware. Guests supply toiletries and any food. Pets are not allowed in these rooms. The rooms are best suited for 2 people since there is only one bed.
• Queen size bed plus a sofa (not a hide-a-bed). If an extra bed is needed, please bring an air mattress or sleeping bag.
• Bathroom has a tub/shower
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (coffee and filters available though), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking in the main resort parking lot for one vehicle. Inquire about additional parking if needed.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs are not allowed in these rooms. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. Maximum occupancy is 4 (but no more than 2 is recommended). Extra person fees may apply if more than 2 people. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. For exact rates, enter your trip dates in the availability search.

  Recently visited for three nights and we normally don't give reviews when we've had a negative experience, but since you asked... Unfortunately, due to our last minute booking, cabins were all occupied and only lodge rooms were available. The front desk staff was aloof when we checked in. The room was clean but appears to not have been updated since the 70's. No AC (which is fine because nights are cool) but for some reason temperature management was a problem. The resort asked for us to take out the trash and clean dishes- seriously? Daily housekeeping is not provided, so this seemed like a ridiculous request. Upon checkout, we said "we're checking out of Room X" and the only response from the front desk was "okay, you're good". No normal inquiry such as "how was your stay?" It seems like the main focus of the resort is rafting and guided fishing trips, no focus on guest comfort. It's also not a good look to see a manager (or owner) counting receipts in front of guests each morning. Maybe the cabins are better?

  Unpretentious and friendly,
  as are the other guests.
  The rooms and cabins are clean and well-stocked.

  The Activities desk was managed by young professionals
  and the rafting, fishing was excellent.
  
  My only issue is the restaurant food.
  The salads are good as are the burgers.
  BUT the amount of extra chicken on the green salad
  didn’t even constitute a fork-full.
  The GBLT sounded large and fluffy on the menu
  but what arrived was like bad cafeteria food.
  And the fries were even worse. All hard.
  
  How about some smoked fish on the menu?
  Grilled chicken and fish?
  Vegetables as a side?
  Cheese, salamis, crackers & olives as a ‘charcuterie’ appetizer.
  
  As a result we cooked out most evenings with the excellently supplied cabin grills, fire-pits and picnic tables. Magical evenings each night.

  Very clean room. Air conditioning was absolutely perfect and kept the room extra cold! Will say that I did not appreciate that the door to the outside ramp was left open at night allowing many bugs to come into the main hallway. Other than that no complaints!
